Been in my mind for quite a while so took a look at the thread on the imp club , then spoke to Rodwell engineering with regrads to 16 valve bike head to go on an imp motor. Spoke quite in depth.
just wondering if anyone as seen a running version or if anyone has one?
Ive seen pics of the one in france but not sure if its ever run.
Please let me know if you know anyone who has one.
Regards mike

All very well but if it does manage to surpass any existing power output barriers then you still have a 3 bearing crankshaft set up below.. Sounds interesting ...but...why not just use the whole bike engine and be done with it! Although that wouldn't comply with our regs would it. I have plying in my mind grafting a similar ally blocked historic engine with 5 bearing crank to hybred Imp engine components of sorts..Trouble is the donor block is rare and expensive. I'm sure that Stuart B could muster up a twin cam head casting ,after all they did it some 40 years ago. Result was it didn't get enough development ,and to my mind you cannot better a wedge shape combustion chamber over a hemi head . Unless of course you are thinking of squeezing 16 valves into a wedge!
