Welcome to the forum for the Hundred Thousand Society (HTS), which was founded in early 2009 as a place to bring together owners and enthusiasts of older, 1000cc or less, high performance vehicles. As well as a place to share our mutual interest for such vehicles, we are aiming to demonstrate that a racing series for pre-1980 1-litre cars (excluding single seaters) would be a viable addition to the range of historic racing available. The zenith of 1-litre racing was some years ago and most small cars now have to share grids with much bigger machinery, which can be off-putting and creates little chance of an outright victory. Thanks to Andy Bower for creating this forum. Our main site can be found at www.classicandracing.co.uk/hundredthousand and contains a members list and contact details - or PM me via this forum if you want to join. At the moment we are a 'virtual' society only but as things progress we will no doubt start to meet up in the real world and not just the virtual! Thanks for your interest, happy browsing and if you post here, keep it friendly and constructive. Cheers Gerry Richards
