I understand that these will be decided shortly. Well as someone who has been involved in the formulation of Championship rules over the years I'd like to make what I hope are the following helpful comments.
1) Keep them simple. As an example of regulations/non regulations look at those adopted for the series run by the Classic Sports Car Club.
2) Determine the regulations for the cars that you know will compete. Don't try and tailor them to those that say they need changes for them to compete. On past experience they won't turn up.
3) Have one person formulate the rules. Committees just result in complications.
4) Have a programme and stick to it.
5) Set realistic entry fees. Ensure that all costs are met. If insufficient entries to cover cost don't be afraid to cancel.
