I dare say that most of us realise that fitting wheels on hubs requires the centre hole to locate / match the hub lip in order to stop the wheel from shifting around! This is easy when standard wheels are used ,but i have never come across this situation with competition wheels..ie alloy or magnesium! At present my hubs are standard Imp with a lovely made spacer from Mark Maynard sandwiched between a large Nissan brake disc. I have rather long wheel studs which meet the requirements to attach the 7"x 13" Revolution wheels! I once saw a kind of bush that fitted between hub(?)and wheel on ebay and want to know if anyone has any experience of the item or what do you do to centralise(?) the whel on hub/s! Dowelling comes to mind ,but a bit difficult to carry out through a wheel centre, brake disc, spacer, hub!!

Well i am still head scratching on this one! For the rear hubs i was thinking of having a spacer come flange with a tube sticking through the wheel centre hole...Perhaps Mark Maynard could do this on his lathe...(?)! As the rear track is so much narrower than the front as yet,it would be of an extra benefit(?)! For the front it would have the effect of more load on the stub axle i feel.. Just why did i get rid of my Vauxhall Ventura 10"disc set up which was perfect for the Imp frontal braking system! Wish they still made Vauxhall 3 litre Venturas!
